Hi, I'm Katlyn Gambill, and I'm on a mission to help emerging sports organizations unlock sustainable digital revenue growth.

After spending nearly a decade driving digital transformation in the NHL with the Minnesota Wild and Los Angeles Kings, I made an unexpected pivot that changed my perspective on sports business forever: I joined the rapidly growing world of pickleball as Head of Digital Marketing for the Association of Pickleball Players.

Throughout my career, I've led transformative digital initiatives that directly impacted revenue growth. At the Los Angeles Kings, I developed comprehensive social media strategies that drove ticket sales and generated new revenue streams through partnerships with brands like GEICO, Popcornopolis, and MANSCAPED. With the Minnesota Wild, I pioneered digital strategies that significantly enhanced the team's online presence and fan engagement. Now, as Head of Digital Marketing at the Association of Pickleball Players, I'm spearheading digital transformation initiatives that encompass everything from organic and paid social media to email marketing and website development, all focused on driving sustainable revenue growth.

This journey from traditional to emerging sports revealed a crucial gap in our industry: while there's plenty of advice about general sports marketing and traditional revenue models, there's virtually no guidance on the unique challenges and opportunities in monetizing emerging sports in the digital age.
